When it comes to a band's basic philosophy, the members of Kansas City's Full Feature have always had a simple formula: rockin' melodic hooks plus boundless live energy equals an "ass-shakin'" musical experience for everyone.
At the base of the band is a consistent and extremely tight rhythm section. Melodically inclined but driving when necessary, there is always room for the lead to breathe, whether it be Eddie singing, Assman flowing on vocals, or Schwen ripping an intricate solo. With music ranging from rock to reggae, hip-hop to pop and back again, Full Feature routinely combines several elements to ensure an energetic and memorable sound. From the day they formed in September of '99 the band has set out to write music that has "booty-shakin'" universal appeal. Using a grassroots method, they have successfully brought their unique style to the masses. With a fan friendly web site, free sample LP's, word-of-mouth, and touring (ten states to date), the people that do catch wind of this band are immediately hooked by both the music and the members charisma.
"The energy was phenomenal and I can see why Full Feature draws such large crowds."
"Full Feature is like having MTV's Spring Break contained into one big keg of Miller Lite for your personal drinking pleasure."
"Full Feature is a rock band full of contagious energy, smart-ass lyrics, a funky-rock sound, a rapping guitarist, and a lead singer with crazy moves."
