Album Notes

Read some quotes from people who have heard FUMO

"Easy, sweet fresh grooves from the heart for those special nights with the one you love."

-Dianne Reeves (Jazz Grammy Winner)

"John & Kelly Fumo present a hypnotic blend of musical influences woven

together, creating a highly original music, accessible to the masses."

-Chris Standring-(A&R Online)

"This is cool...the sound is very modern. A little bit of trumpet, a little vocal and heavy beats

give it a hip street vibe. I like it a lot! "

-Kelly Cole (Music Director, KIFM
Smooth Jazz 98)

"I really enjoyed it! Really interesting stuff ! Unique combination of trumpet and voice.

Fresh and wonderful!"

-Jeff Kashewa (Farenheit Records)

John and Kelly Fumo are a husband and wife writing, producing and performing team. They have put

together an exciting band that features Kelly on vocals and John on trumpet, blending pop melodies and

mesmerizing horn compositions over deep grooves. Kelly's vocals stand out as clear, simple and pure.

As a lyricist, she wears her heart on her sleeve. Her songs reflect her desire for personal growth, and the

love for her family.

John plays trumpet like Miles Davis with a pop edge. His mood and improvisation

technique set him apart. A session man who backs many great artists such as J-Lo, Shakira, Brian

McKnight, Ricky Martin, Neil Young, k.d. lang, Brian Setzer, Whitney Houston and many others, he also

can be heard on numerous film and television soundtracks. They're backed by a four piece rhythm

section made up of some of LA's finest musicians. Together they're ready to take center stage and blow

your minds.
