Funkscribe is a man with one mission- funkify the entire world. Armed with a talkbox, an arsenal of analog synthesizers, and an MPC2000XL- he creates the evolution of the funk AKA New Old School. His first official studio album, "Synthesized Soul"is a testament to the idea that funk will never die! It's an uptempo explosion of nasty horn lines, boomin moog bass, low down dirty vocal harmonies, bangin' beats, vintage keyboards, and virtuoso talkbox mayhem.

After playing 2 west coast tours with the 420 Funk Mob (Original members of Funkadelic) & Dr. Funkenstein George Clinton, the powers of the "P" were officially handed down to the Funkscribe. Boarding the muthaship officially increased his interplanetary funksmanship.

This album features the power of Parliament-Funkadelic's mothership- Garry "Starrchild" Shider (vocalist for P-Funk), Lige Curry (P-Funk bass player), and Michael "Kidd Funkadelic" Hampton (P-Funk guitar player). Rounding out this funk mob is an array of the funkiest musicians on the west coast- Saxologist Mike Theiss and guitar blastas Stingshark & Maktub's Thaddeus Turner lended a funky hand to create a true FUNKSCRIBE FAMILY AFFAIR!

Funkscribe utilizes the classic funky analog and vintage keyboards- such as the Hohner Clavinet D6, Moog Prodigy, Moog Little Phatty, Arp Pro Soloist, Arp Omni String Machine, Fender Rhodes, Wurlitzer Electric Piano, Hammond B-3, Roland Juno 60, and more. The idea is creation instead of replication- analog over digital baby!

Funkscribe has also played with funk heavyweights such as Altered States of Funk, Roy Ayers, Orgone, Nomo, and Delta Nove.
