Album Notes

The name "fuse" was derived from the different styles in the songs from classic to punk to alternative to country.

Please note that due to the brilliant idea of placing a song in the negative index prior to song #1, this CD will not play in some older computers. Hey, it was 1998, NOBODY was really going to listen to music on their computers... right? D'OH! It WILL however play normally in CD players.

The CD opens with Memory. At first listen it appears that the protaganist is speaking of an ill-fated love affair when in fact he is speaking of the constant betrayal of our representation by our politicians.

An addict romanticizes the courtship, affair and resolution of his dependancy in Shirtless in the Rain.

Life's Been Good is a sing along feel-good song about being satisfied with who and where you are. Featuring "Johnny Limbo and the Lugnuts" on backing vocals and handclaps.

Good-bye Girl seems to be a tender song of one man's love and his fear of the girl of his dreams leaving him. The song takes a dark turn...

So Much More? features a blazing guitar solo by Chris Newman of Napalm Beach and Snow Bud and the Flower People. The solo is worth the price of the CD alone!

Remember the Australian band "Angel City"? We do! This is one of their best songs served up ala fuse.

The title track from the CD paints a picture of a man's struggle to find his love once more.

One Time is a haunting 3/4 song about being strong in the face adversity.

Can love be Forever?

The smoking gun is a woman's unmistakable charm in Girl with a Gun.

Coming Home is this CDs epic. A man longs to be with his family from his life on the road.

A cd to listen to again and again

When I listened to the first time it reminded me of someone but could not remember who. After a few spins I knew that they sound like an 80s band called The Rainmakers. The Rainmakers were good and so are Fuse. Memory kicks off the CD very nicely but the best track for me is shirtless in the rain . Its a gem and along with lifes been good to me, so much more, boxcar sky, one time and girl with a gun I will keep going back to listen to it again and again.

WHOA! Where has this CD been all my life? I LOVE IT! This band RAWKS! Catchy songs that get stuck in your head. Buy this CD! BTW, the only reason I gave it 4 stars and not 5 is because I can't play it in my computer.
