"Monitor" is completed and up for sale!
Constantly changing and highly unpredictable, FUTURE NOISE is an unstatic release from a highly unstatic band. Fans of Ween, Beck, Radiohead, Flaming Lips, Air, '80s video game music, and the unknown should be pleased. And 18 tracks for 6 bucks, how can you go wrong?
Perhaps it's the lack of everything and surplus of nothing in Milford, New Hampshire that drove these two young'uns to lock themselves in the basement of 147 South St. for 4 long years. During this time, Andy and Mike arduously worked to perfect their eclectic brew of music and noise. Unfortunately, they never came close. Fortunately, upon this document of their early basement endeavors, the world can see for the first time why stale environments don't neccessarily produce stale teenagers.
At 20 years old, both Andy and Mike have many years ahead of them to perfect their awesomely imperfect and experimental blend of oft divergent musical stylings. Overflowing with ideas, FUTURE NOISE is an album consisting of 3 separate eps: tracks 1-6 are Cause & Effect, 7-12 are We Have the Technology, and 13-18 are What've You Done??? After 4 years of incubation, Future Noise has finally been born, and this release is a documentation of their path to creation.

met if not exceeded expectations

I'd never heard of these guys before but seeing as how they were described as Ween/Beck/Lips/Air-influenced, all of which are some of my absolute favorites, I felt compelled to check them out and I had really high expectations of the musical and lyrical content. I was very pleased as soon as I heard the first few notes of the first track and I remained excited throughout the disc.

a nice little collection of songs, with a great use of vocoding (be it maybe a bit heavy at times) great to see an artist not afraid to put to songs on a cd that sound nothing alike
