Album Notes
Fynesound is John and Sharon Knowles, Karin Loya and Linda Rice-Johnston. If you listen to the CD closely you can hear the feet of our Highland dancer, Kim Lyons!

We made this recording in two parts - the fruits of two live concerts during Thanksgiving. It was cold and we had a roaring fire in the hearth - you can hear the crackling, especially during the quieter musical moments!

The audience came from four states - Pennsylvania, Maryland, Virginia and West Virginia. Most of the audience is from Adams County, Pennsylvania and the Gettysburg vicinity in particular. They join us on tracks 1, 4, 6, 7, 8 and 13. We would like to extend our thanks to all of them for making this such an enjoyable experience.

In addition to the wonderful Christmas music that we all so love we have chosen some special Celtic music which will connect with the powerful emotions often radiating through the human race at Christmas time: joyful, poignant or sad memories. We hope you enjoy our music!
