In a world where music is birthed out of negative feelings, broken relationships, and selfish behavior, G3 BAND has emerged as a group that has chosen to convey a more positive outlook on life. G3 BAND writes and performs songs about unfailing love, hope, peace and answers to life’s many problems. Comprised of three brothers; John, Anthony and Nathanael Gilkes, G3 BAND's music is a modern expression of classic, "feel good" rock n’ roll heavily influenced by the spirit and message found in contemporary Christian and Gospel music. G3 BAND has just completed their second full length CD entitled "I Am Here" which is an artistic illustration of spiritual growth gained through a Christ centered view of life’s many experiences. In late 2004, G3 BAND also released their debut CD entitled "Masterpiece" and in 2006, competed in the "Real Music: Christian Music Talent Search" which included more than 50 bands in the Northeastern Ohio area. G3 BAND placed in the top six and was given the opportunity to play at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland, Ohio. G3 BAND is also in the process of relocating to Nashville, TN and with continued support from an entire family of musically gifted individuals including the band’s manager and father, Ernie Gilkes, Jr. and brother-in-law, Sean Ferrell, who along with engineering, also played drums and bass on both of the bands CD’s, are looking to ramp up their musical journey beyond just their hometown audience. G3 BAND is looking forward to a very bright future not only for themselves, but for those who are fortunate enough to be on the receiving end of their unique musical offering.
