I blew my load
author: Franko.comI literally blew my load while listening to this album. Should I say more?
Think this is good? Well then...
author: DarIn my slightly-more-than-a-year as a GDB fan, my only regret is that I didn't hear about them sooner. As in, soon enough to get an original copy of this disc. But for all that like "More Than It Would Seem", I would suggest checking out their new album, "On A Rolling Ball". Re-worked versions of MTIWS tracks plus some outstanding new material make for another satisfying listen from the Gabe Dixon Band.
Rock meets Jazz !
author: Laura T. Lynch of Kweevak.comThe Gabe Dixon Band is a rock jazz-fusion ensemble sans the guitar. Gabe’s vocals are smoky and soulful and the band is tight. The CD opens with ‘Happy Woman’ an energetic song with strong vocals, a steady beat and fine keyboards. ‘Look Into Your Eyes’ is a good example of the smooth interaction between the members of band and it has great hooks. ‘Love Story’ is a soulful track with beautiful piano work and animated instrumentation. This CD is a great collection of rock meets jazz in songs that have depth, clarity, feeling and emotion.

author: ZenmasterThis cd is a gem. Great lyrics and awesome vocals! Sounds very similiar to Ben Folds Five. If you enjoy rock, chances are you'll like this cd.
Hot damn...
author: SethIf Rufus Wainright fronted Supertramp and they tore up songs by Sting and Paul McCartney, it may sound somewhere close to this good. The musicianship is so good you don't even think about "musicianship"... just great songs. I have not stopped listening to this album over the past 72 hours, and I can't say that about anything else in recent history. Listen listen listen!
FREEKIN AWESOME!!!

Absolutely captivating
author: Josh HuberAfter hearing hundreds of independent bands out there, this CD has succeeded in completely blowing me away with its musical intricacies and craftwork. Gabe Dixon shows virtuosic piano and vocal performance throughout, and shows that a rock band can be a rock band without guitar. Absolute brilliant songwriting and performance by all musicians.
One of the best rock albums I have heard in a long time
author: BillI fell in love with this CD from start to finish. It is truely beautiful work. A heartfelt thanks goes to the band for creating a fresh sound that I have been longing for.
