Memories
author: Jackie
I used to listen to this tape practically non-stop when I was a kid. I had "The Picnic of the World" completely memorized and I loved almost all of the songs, but "The Wheel of the Water" frightened me at night; I think it was the man's deep and scary-sounding voice. "A Capital Ship" weirded me out a little too because I had no idea what was going on, so I used to stop the tape and start it over after Stone Soup (which I adored).
Besides those two songs, my siblings and I all loved it...probably a little too much. I wouldn't be surprised if my mom had some of those songs memorized too.

Our 18month old son starts clapping the minute it starts
author: Rebecca Mosley
An engagingly clever and singable CD. Our 18 month old son has loved it all year. And we his parents do not tire of Tom Chapin's smart lyrics and fun songs. Three of the pieces are part of our family lullaby repertoire. I recommend it to anyone with children. Good music, good morals, good message about care of the earth and one another.
