Gahd is taking hip-hop to the next level. This North Carolina born emcee started rapping at the age of twelve,as 'J Lyric', in school yard battles. While beginning to show promise as a teenager, J Lyric got caught up in 'thug-life' and ended up doing several years in prison. But he turned tragedy into triumph and emerged as 'Gahd' with a new focus and mission in life. Gahd has traveled worldwide especially within Africa. He has purchased a home in southern Africa and dedicates proceeds from cd sales to aid in the development of Africa.

This CD is da bomb for folk who want somethin' beyond the BS that hip hop has become.  Intellectual, Thoughtful, but beyond all PURE LYRACISM is how I would term this album...Lyracism that says something, and stimulates those who posess sufficient amounts of thought organ.
