I immediately fell in love with his music after downloading "This Empty Northern Hemisphere". I now have all of his songs. What is more, Gregory is doing a tour of the UK in the Summer of 2011 and I am lucky enough to be close to Glastonbury so hope to see him "live" in Glastonbury on June 5th! Can't wait!

Warm, full string arrangements meet Isakov’s sad and beautiful voice and guitar - these are songs that will stick with you for a long time. By adding the lush strings, the songs transcend the typical folk fair and become something still rural, but now dreamy and haunted. It’s truly wonderful stuff. With guest vocals from Brandi Carlile (and recorded partially at her house), there are a lot of layers to this This Empty Northern Hemisphere, so repeated listens are a must.
