ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Growing up as a young lad, my parents had music playing constantly in our home, we had everything from the Beatles to Queen, Slade, T-Rex, Elvis Presley who my dad “God Rest Him” was a massive fan of, we had COUNTRY music, we had POP, we just had music on all the time, so I could say that I was most deffinaetly influenced at a very early age.

As I started getting older and the 80s were in full swing, I started to develop my own taste in music, I seemed to be drawn more to the ELECTRONIC stuff, Depeche Mode, New Order, Ultra Vox, Simple Minds, OMD, to name a few, HIP HOP, also caught my attention and that led me to buying my first vinyls, Grandmaster Flash & Run Dmc, they cost a whopping 15p each Wowwww.
So time had past and before I knew it the 80s were gone and the 90s were born, “WHAT A DECADE” the raves & clubbing scene started and so did DANCE & TECHNO, the mix tapes were in full flow, Rodger Sanchez, Mike Pickering, Sasha & Digweed, Tony Humphries, Greame Park, Hooligan X, Colin Paterson, still got them all to this day ” IN THE VAULT” lol.

We regulary went to COLOURS/STREERAVE nights were the Djs would deliver Club Classics & Classic House, Ahh the MEMORIES!!!! Another hotspot for me was the infamous HANGER 13 in Ayr which saw exciting new acts like Q-Tex, Qfx, Ultrasonic, TTF, on reflection that was undoubtably the greatest moments to come out of my clubbing days.

Now it wouldnt be fair to talk about the 90s and not mention the likes of Primal Scream, Stone Roses, Happy Mondays, Oasis, Inspiral Carpets, The Farm, just some of the groups which will live in my heart forever.

By now the 90s was coming to an end and a new wave of music was surfacing and with it brought an emotional feeling, it was Euphoric, it was Uplifting, it was Pleasurable, it was Epic, “IT WAS TRANCE”, this music was almost like a therapy session, and my love for it remains with me to this day.

Over the past few years, my love for music has given me the inspiration to start producing my own tracks. A friend introduced me to SOUNDCLOUD were i have met some nice people who have helped me along the way…..maybe just maybe, my tracks could be someone elses therapy.
