Galactic Song Descriptions
Track 1: “Girls” , Dwight Thompson's French summer hit, sounds better than ever. An up-dated version of the European favorite.
"Girls" is a lighthearted, humorous, pop-disco song extolling the many virtues of girls.
Track 2: "Sally Go round The Roses" is The Angie Mamas debut single. A live atmosphere sets the stage for these four young ladies from Copenhagen, Denmark.
Xenia is an actress. Christine is known in Denmark for her roles in popular T.V soap operas.
Mette is an international fashion model and Nuna pursues academic achievement.
All in all, The Angie Mamas. "Sally Go Round The Rose" with it's swinging rhythm will appeal to listeners from eight to eighty.
Track 3: "EVERY LITTLE THING" by Done Deal, combines melody and rhythm with a strong, catchy hook.
The musicianship, songwriting and vocal talents of Corey "Sex C" Forney and Shawn "Keys" Jaros are all on display on this original track.
Track 4: "What's Going On" is Quincy Jones' protégé, Michael Robinson's, first solo single.
Michael is a vocalist in the tradition of Barry White, Marvin Gaye and Lou Rawls.
His distinct vocal sound, once heard, is immediately
recognizable.
"What's Going On" is Michael's tribute to the legendary Marvin Gaye.
Track 5: "HEAVENLY" features another soulful performance from singer-songwriter Dwight Thompson.
"HEAVENLY" is about an ideal relationship. The woman a man dreams of..or already has.
Each partner on the others pedestal while the chorus sings it's "Heavenly" being in love with you.
Track 6: "Wax Job" is a melange, a breakdown of original arrangemental elements introduced in the classic Berlina version of Car Wash.
Track 7: "IF I HAD NO HEART" by Done Deal uses a balance of phat rhythms, catchy melodies and top notch songwriting,
to breathe new life into the Minneapolis music scene.
Done Deal is a must listen for r&b-soul and rap aficionados.
Track 8: "IMAGINATION" is another euro-pop gem from the Angie Mamas.
Xenis's lead vocals are supported by Christine, Nuna and Mette's background vocals.
Track 9: "HEAVENLY THEME" with it's euro-smooth, instrumental groove, was a popular sound in the eighties..
A precursor of todays smooth jazz sound, THE WCM ORCHESTRA played a fusion of disco, r&b, and jazz.
"HEAVENLY THEME" reflects those times.
Reminiscent of an eighties sitcom theme, "HEAVENLY THEME" evokes a nostalgia for a less complicated society.
track 10: "EXPRESS" by DRIVEN is funk-fusion-rock at it's best. Driven's heavy chops are undeniable. Leave your car.
