Album Notes

Galdson was born in Spain in 1977 and took up the piano at the age of 10, under Maruxa Lema’s supervision. After studying independently for five years, he joined Vivero conservatory of music, where he consolidated his studies with the teacher Eloísa Pérez, who encouraged him to continue in the music world. Following one year at the conservatory, he moved to Coruña to start studying for the primary school teacher specialisation. He combined his music training in Coruña conservatory with his university studies. He studied under the teacher Elena Segura, a fundamental mainstay of his training, for five years, and obtained his professional pianist qualification. He currently lives in Ortigueira, where he has just finished composing his fourth work, Musical Landscapes III.
