Album Notes

Influenced and inspired by songwriters old and new, guitarist Brendan Cooney pairs blues, folk, and classical training with a passion for rock and roll, making it difficult to put this four-piece band into a proverbial box. Fresh out of high school, Cooney and lead guitarist Shea Brennan have skills and song-writing abilities beyond their years, pairing nicely with the slightly older, seasoned musicians Dave Mozdzanowski on bass, and drummer Ryan Cooney.

After enduring a complicated past that would normally cause many bands to split, The Gallery has a vision that has helped them to press on to where they are today.

After almost two years of playing solely during school breaks, all of the ingredients fell into the mix, landing all four members in South Florida, poised to start writing and playing full-time. Their dedication to their music and to each other as friends has taken them from where they were just a year ago, and has landed them in prime position for a working band: living together.

With a 5 song EP now under their belt, and plans to write many more dynamic, truthful, and heartfelt songs, The Gallery joins the strong line-up at Blue Duck Records in 2007.
