Sea Breeze Jazz is pleased to announce the release of My Foolish Heart, by vocalist Karen Gallinger. The long awaited follow up to her 1995 release Live At The Jazz Bakery, this new project provides Ms. Gallinger an opportunity to explore the wide range and depth of her artisitic abilities. The performances on this CD flow smoothly from the warm richness of the Latin selections (Gentle Rain, Bridges, Someone To Light Up My Life) to the groove of solid swing (Just Friends, Isn't It Romantic) but, as she proved with her first project, the subtleties, textures and shadings of her ballads (My Foolish Heart, The Way You Look Tonight) place her firmly in the category of world class vocalists.

Produced by composer/arranger Tom Zink, this hand-picked group of L.A.-based musicians shines, from the lush string arrangements and sax solos, to the gritty lowdown blues.
