Album Notes

From beneath the sewer caps of the Bay Area's boulevards, a now well known group of independent rap artist's has emerged. Game Insane's driving force into the spotlight has transformed what were once young men with a dream, into recording industry professionals. Aside from their contribution to uncountable nationwide compilations, each member has contributed into composing the innovative sound of every Game Insane album. From this debut self titled release "Game Insane" the nationwide rap following was convinced of the soon to come success of any music released on G.I. Productz. After this release there was a follow up EP "Trunk Tight". It was in essence set in stone that this underground group was on top of its game and in an elevated position. Since then, they have moved on to better establish themselves as one of the most recognized names in the Bay Area rap community and beyond. Game Insane is back with another shot of highly intoxicating original music. "Brainstorm" has surpassed all expectation and out shined past achievements. This CD is the long awaited album that is a must have for all followers and rap fans.

REVIEWS

Overall this is a tight ass album from start to finish.
author: Blutarski
1. "High Intensity" The Game Insane album has finally arrived and this track gets it started right. The beat is clean and gets your head moving. This track only has T-One and LOE on it, but both come with some tight flows. The production by T-1 is clean. A great track to start the album off with. 2. "Membaz Only" This track is T-One, Mr. Maja and MuB. The production by T-1 is sweet again and the beat knoccs hard. They flow about members only places. It's a tight track from start to finish. I'm feeling T-One's verse the most out of the three. 3. "Maybe in the Future" Another knoccin ass beat by T-1. This is also a T-One solo track. He comes with some tight lyrics all the way through. He is my favorite of the 4 members. His style is good and the lyrics he comes with are tight. It's a very short track though, wish it was a bit longer. 4. "Try 2 Catch Us" Mr. Maja gets his hand at production on this one. Another T-One solo track. T-One rips up the mic as Maja lays down a sweet ass beat. T-One flows about the police and that they can catch them if they can. A tight track overall. 5. "Untwinded Mind" This is from the Game Insane promo CD. Mr. Maja and T-One are on this one. Maja laces up the production for this track. I'm not feeling this track as much as some of the other tracks on the album. I do like the track, but there are some better tracks on the album to listen to. 6. "Sickazz Fashion" Another T-One solo track. He laces up some nice production to this track and there is another good beat to it. T-One doesn't really have a gangsta rap feel to him, but it's a lot harder than hip-hop to me. I'm feeling it anyway you put it. A knoccin solo track from T-One. 7. "Night Life" T-One and LOE flow about that night life in the Bay. T-1 laces up the production again. I like the background effects to this track. I'm feeling LOE's flow more than T-1 on this track, but both come tight. I wish LOE would have been on this album more than he is. Still a sicc track overall. 8. "Short Fuze" A lot more of a gangsta feel to this track. T-One, Mr. Maja and MuB come clean on the mic as T-1 laces up another good beat. I'm feeling T-One the most out of the three on this one. A good track overall. 9. "Bangin' the Same Clique" This was also on the promo CD. Mr. Maja laces up a knoccin beat as T-One has another tight solo track. His lyrics are a lot harder on this track. He has more of that gangsta feel to his flows. A good track overall, I'm feeling it. 10. "Killin' the Competition" Another T-One solo track. He also produced this one. I like the production to this track and the beat is hard, but T-One doesn't have his best flow on this track. It's also very short, only about 1:30 seconds long. 11. "Sliterin'" Another knoccin ass beat from T-1. Mr. Maja, MuB and T-One are on this one. The three flow about slithering like a snake. Kinda funny if you think about it, but it's tight. I'm feeling MuB and Mr. Maja more than T-One on this one. It's a tight track overall. Wish there would be more tracks with MuB and Maja on them. 12. "Diseased" A T-One solo produced by Mr. Maja. For some reason the quality on this track doesn't sounds all that great. The production is clean by Maja and T-One has some nice vocals. I'm still confused about the quality though. 13. "T-One N Only" Another T-One solo track. The production is by Young Mozart. This is about the only track on the album that I'm not really feeling. I don't like T-One's delivery on this one and the production isn't all that great. Might have been better with the other members, but then it wouldn't have been titled T-One N Only. 14. "Quakin'" The ONLY track on the album that has all four members on it. T-1 does the production for this one. They flow about how they got the Bay quakin' from their heat. I'm feeling this track to the fullest, but I wish the whole album had featured all members on each track. Overall this is a tight ass album from start to finish. The production is top notch, the flows are clean and it is completely solo from outside artists. The only thing I don't like about it is that it seems more like a T-One solo album with the other GI members coming in every now and then. I wish there had been more of a group feel to it. All that can be overlooked though cause it's a tight album. Check it out and get yourself a copy of it.
