Album Notes

After over 25 years of playing, Gareth Kear has been involved in everything from blues bands to classical guitar and film music - and other styles in between.

After moving to Bucks County Pennsylvania, he developed a folk sound inspired by the rural landscapes north of Philadelphia.

Though his classical training help established a strong fingerstyle technique, there are many hints of Hendrix and Stevie Ray Vaughan in his "plectrum" playing.

If you enjoy a diverse collection of guitar sounds and moods, this will be the perfect listen.
