Plenty of Music an Instructional & Parenting Guide Too!


Mommy-Daddy-Granny-Nanny-Teachers-Siblings Too! Sing-A-Song & Dance-Along,
it's fun and good for you. Based in the richness of traditional folk music with
35 songs and activities of interactive, educational musical fun. Research
supports the importance of music in the early years and this program follows the
standards of the Music Educators National Conference (MENC). Use Sing With Me!
at home or travel, as a curriculum in the classroom & daycare, spontaneously
throughout the day, during transitions, circle time, home visits, parent-child
enrichment, community events, in therapeutic settings & birthday celebrations.


This unique program was developed specifically for infants, toddlers,
preschoolers and the grown-ups who love them. Infant activities are included and all
materials can be adapted for K-2nd grade. An educator and grandmother, Gari
Stein is passionate about providing a rich musical environment for every child.
She conducts trainings for teachers and caregivers and leads interactive
concerts in all settings that serve young children and their families. "It is a
privilege for me to work with these precious little ones. When all else fails,
try singing and dancing. It really works!"


Every activity has been tried, tested and given the seal of approval from the
hundreds of families Gari has worked with. Methods and philosophies have been
gathered from experts in Music Education for Early Childhood. Except for the
instrumental selections, the program is presented in short segments-simply, in
just Gari's voice, slowly-paced with purposeful pauses to create silence,
which helps children to focus, .absorb and listen to the music. Babies, too!
