Album Notes

Garrett Viggers is a new breed of singer/songwriter with the Hammered Dulcimer and Lap Dulcimer. He has sought to create a new sound that incorporates the rhythmic and percussive dance of the hammered dulcimer along with other incredible instruments. He enjoys credits on Randy Stonehill’s “Edge of the World” album, which features legendary artists such as Phil Keaggy, Barry McGuire and Noel Paul Stookey. Garrett recorded his first record "Emmanuel" in the studio of world-class hammered dulcimer player (and mentor) Dan Landrum. Landrum toured with Yanni, and also collaborated with Garrett on several of the tracks. Garrett also recorded an acoustic version of "Creed" by Rich Mullins with Third Day and Brandon Heath.
