Album Notes

Sandy is originally from Louisville, KY, growing up across the Ohio River in Jeffersonville, IN. She was active in music and theatre in high school and majored in voice in college before hitting the road with a band. She made quite a few trips to Nashville over the years; collecting such fans as Pete Drake, Harlan Howard, John Hurley, and Chet Atkins. Eventually ending up in Los Angeles, Sandy performed regularly and also worked in the movie industry until the recession of 1991 sent her packing back to Nashville, TN, where her sister helped her to get her life back on track. Though music was sort of relegated to the "back burner" at that time, Sandy never lost the desire to sing, write and share her music. The current production of "Late Arrival" is the realization of a very- very-long-time dream. The CD has delighted all who have heard it, including reviewer Robert K. Oermann (Sept 8, 2005 "Music Row" magazine). Don't miss "Black Velvet Elvis"!

Very nice folky sound

Very nice, folksy, bluesy sound. I hope that Sandy writes some new stuff, especially tunes with a blues influence
