Album Notes

After thirty years in the “Big Fat Pet Clams from Outer Space”; I thought I would attempt to record some of the band’s stuff on my own. I had always worked in a band situation; going back to the legendary Upstage Club in Asbury Park. And because of that, I tend to let the other guys do the work. I thought it might be interesting to do some songs as I had first conceived them.
The Clams go back to the late seventies in the East Village and the Jersey shore. We were managed by Hilly Kristal, the owner of CBGB, and we recorded for Handshake Records in the eighties. This story is better told on the band’s website.
Anyway; after CBs closed, I began working on my own, and these are my variations of some of the songs we’ve done over the last thirty years.
