In the ancient teaching of meditation there is one text that has gained my respect and interest since 1972. The Pantanjali Sutras contain 194 short concise statements that offer a complete road map into the mind. One of these sutras, in particular, describes exactly what occurs whenever our Internal Guidance System disengages.

Balance, clarity, peace and an abundance of energy already exist within every human being. We have only to remove the
obstacles that prevent them from manifesting.
