After leaving the USAF Band as guitarist/vocalist, Gary made his way to the Gulf Beaches of St. Petersburg Florida, where he performed as a solo acoustic artist for several years. He calls that his Jimmy Buffet phase. A bunch of things lead him to where he is now in Nashville(But no boring details here). He has warmed the stage for artist like Johnny Cash, Conway Twitty, Ronnie Milsap, and Dan Seals to name but a few. His sound though, is uniquely his.
Stay awhile and listen. You'll be glad that you did.
This CD was recorded at Sound Control in Nashville and features some of the best "AAA" team studio players in town.
Sonny Garrish(steel), Gary Prim(piano & Keys), Kelly Back(electric guitar), Bruce Watkins(acoustic guitar), Craig Nelson(bass), Jerry Kroon(drums), Milton Sledge(drums on "The Wrecking Crew"), Robert Hajakos(fiddle). Produced by Jim Pierce and Engineered by Ronnie Light. Collectively these great musicians have performed and recorded with George Strait, Billy Ray Cyrus, Kenny Chesney, Alan Jackson, Brooks & Dunn, Alabama, Chris Cagle, Clint Black, B.B. King, Hank Williams Jr., Faith Hill, Ricky Skaggs, David Allan Coe, Don McLean, Buck Owens, and on & on & on!
