"Gary Kawiliau Haleamau"

A native of Hawai’i, Gary has been recognized as a skilled musician, falsetto hawaiian singer, slack key guitarist and song writer. He was fortunate to have sung and played with many accomplished musicians such as Ledward Ka’apana, Dennis Pavao, Dennis Kamakahi, Eddie Kamae, Kenneth Makuakane, and numerous talented musicians from Hawaii and around the world.

Through music, Gary has been able to travel the U.S., Japan and throughout the Pacific sharing his gift and making a positive impact on all ages listening to his interpretation of music.

For many years, Gary became familiar with contemporary Christian music as a worship director in Hawaii and Las Vegas. His love for Christian music grew and he began writing Christian songs as well.

Hawaiian and Christian music has been an important part of his life. It has given him the opportunity to reach many who yearn for a taste of Hawaii and for those who are needing a mighty touch from God; he is truly blessed.
