"Jazzy Celebration: San Diego jazz mainstay Gary LeFebvre began playing professionally here in 1956. The tireless tenor saxophonist moved to Los Angeles three years later to join vibraphonist Terry Gibbs' Dream Band. Since then, he has worked across the United States and Europe, performing with everyone from Fellow saxophonists Art Pepper and Illinois Jacquet to San Kenton, Mose Allison and the Nelson Riddle Orchestra. ..." George Varga, San Diego, Union-Tribune, Monday, February 21, 2005.

Gary LeFebvre's second solo album is masterful!
author: Tommy Prigmore
This album is AMAZING! The title cut is especially moving. Gary's tribute to Frank Butler with Gary Alone is a stirring musical soliloquy which deserves far more credit than Gary received for this track. This album also highlights Gary's compositional skills in addition to his mastery of the tenor saxophone.
