Gary Murray, the former front man on LN, is back with his second solo release. This time he has enlisted his former band mates to round out the band. So back are Murray's smooth, haunting vocals, with the intimate lyrics, and beautifully down beat songs. Though joining his sparse, acoustic songs this time are the washes of sound and reverb that were always present on the LN records. It's the best of both worlds. "Downstream Angels" is a a wonderful gift.
