With his first Cd release, Gary O’Connell of Halifax, eloquently graces us with soothing original compositions and arrangements of well known melodies, some of which are seeing first light on solo guitar. One piece, Waltz’n With The Blues, recently won semi-finalist in the 2007 UK Songwriting Contest.

Herein lies a wonderful array of styles written, ranging from waltz, classical, baroque, jazz and blues including something with a Maritime flavor!
