ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
\"LOSS 4 WORDS\" is the newest creation from multi-instrumentalist GARY SCHUTT, best known as touring bass player/guitarist for JEFF SCOTT SOTO (Journey/Yngwie Malmsteen/Talisman).

This compilation features 17 new songs that show off Gary\'s talents on guitar and writing guitar based instrumental tunes. \"L4W\" is Gary\'s seventh CD release to date and his first all instrumental album. This is also Gary\'s first release since 1994\'s \"Sentimetal\" that isn\'t an \"all Gary\" album. While Jeff Scott Soto sang on \"Sentimetal\", \"L4W\" features an impressive list of guest musicians such as Neal Schon (Journey), Oz Fox (Stryper), Bryan Beller (Vai, Dethklok), Howie Simon (Jeff Scott Soto, Alcatrazz) and Jeff Thal (Bumblefoot).

The long awaited release of \"Loss 4 Words\" is finally here! Pop it in, turn it up and open your mind.

This CD used to come with a DVD. This is a single CD release as of 2012, The DVD material is now included in the "Instruments Of Destruction" DVD only available at www.garyschutt.com.

stunning
We've waited a while for this release and it absolutely delivers, well worth the wait.

loss4words is a perfect platform to showcase the instrumental talents and virtuostic guitar chops of Gary Schutt. Each track is different and exciting--nuances surface with each listen. ROAD TRIP is a standout--smooth, mellow, soulful--until the shredding begins!! Loss 4 Words is a beautiful ballad, emoting a sensual mood. Kitten with an Attitude brings the jazz to the table. Dain Bramage has stood the test of time, having been written during Gary's college days, and sounds fresh and new. Baby Dinosaur is just plain fun!!

It is an amazing work by Gary Schutt. The guitar work alone is phenomenal but then add in the bass, drums, keys, the writing, producing, video production--it is astounding. A must have for Gary Schutt fans, guitar players and anyone who appreciates great, great music.
