An entertaining, educational, inspirational collection of artistic expressions i
author: Steve Larrick
Here's an entertaining, educational and inspirational primer on why people are defending democracy against corporate control. Among 32 cuts are musical classics from champions of justice like Bruce Cockburn and Gil Scott-Heron as well as contemporary gems from Ani DiFranco, Toni Scherr, and Chris Brown. Spoken word recordings from Jello Biafra, Maude Barlow and David Suzuki top off an audio documentary of globalization issues. Proceeds support progressive sources for news like THE NATION.
