Classic Gin Blossoms sound
author: Scott
Once again, a classic sound from Robin...resembles the Gin Blossoms. The techno song was a nice hook; well done.

Fun powerpop...although it's more pop than power

I ordered this cd because I'm a huge Gin Blossoms fan. I recently got the Gas Giants disc and was not disapponted... so I figured I would give this one a try. While this bares little resemblence to GB, I really liked this a lot! Catchy and a lot of fun. High points: "Ella Doesn't Care", "Places That Are Gone" and "Babyface". The only low point for me was the last track. If you are a fan of Robin Wilson... you'll like this cd, and give the "GAS GIANTS" cd a listen as well. It's a bit more guitar-driven, but still melodic. Nice job Mr. Wilson!

Poppy but still pretty good :o)
author: Rachel Mc
Much closer to pop than rock than I was expecting, but still a great sound and a CD that stayed in the car player for a while. No regrets buying it - a must for a Gin Blossoms junkie!
