Gastromachine fuses elements of Industrial, Techno, Metal, and Goth in a fierce concoction of melodic chaos. The band draws from many different influences including Throbbing Gristle, Nine Inch Nails, Skinny Puppy, Aphex Twin, and Kraftwerk. Founded in San Antonio, Texas in the year 2000 by Will Gastro, the band has transformed from a primal beginning to a highly charged, visually beguiling troupe of musicians.
The lyrics of Gastromachine reflect a razor sharp assault of both bondage and fetishism as well as paranoia and philosophy. Founder Will Gastro's creative hard-edged programming provides a dark and eerie backdrop to crunching beats. Vocalist Connie Ericson brings, with her seductive presence and hypnotizing voice, an essential element that completes the group. Guitarist Crash Craddock's thunderous power chords and riffs add body to complicated melodies. Keyboardist Richard Evans creates rich soundscapes and alien sounds. Bassist Mr. Weeed offers intricate bass melodies and grooves. Drummer Mike Kee brings pounding beats to the music. The band has built a substantial, loyal fan base in San Antonio, TX.
The no holds barred attitude of the band comes to life in their live performances. A hard working group of musicians, Gastromachine stays active with a list of shows shared by the likes of Meg Lee Chin (Pigface), Chris Connelly (Revolting Cocks), Slick Idiot featuring En Esh (KMFDM), and the Genitorturers. Will Gastro stays on the cutting edge of nuclear humor by employing audience participation in such revolting acts as wearing a nail strap-on for all those who dare to worship and fashioning an udder suit while invoking mesmerized fans to suck from his udders. Up for dinner and dancing? Gastro shows will always please those who desire sick orgies of culinary delights! Various meat by products have been known to be heartily eaten by unsuspecting patrons of horror...

Beauty mixed w/ Chaos
author: Sam Olsen
The extreme dynamics were blended in wonderfully from track to track. The harsh and aggressive sounds along with a beautiful ambient female voice was a nice touch. Each song takes you on a whole new unsuspecting level.
