Gat has been writing and recording music for many years and has released three CD's, two as a solo artist and one as a member of Starbyrd.
Gat's music has been described by reviewers as sounding like a cross between George Harrison and Roger McGuinn - folk rock meets The Beatles. Playing various instruments, Gat has been able to create songs influenced by The Beatles, Byrds, REM and many West Coast bands, but at the same time has managed to retain his own unique style.
Having left Starbyrd in January 2006, Gat has been writing and recording some new material ready for a new solo CD. In the meantime, he has also been working on a collection of songs from past and present releases called 'Then To Now' which has now been released. Most of the tracks from 'Then To Now' have been re-mastered and there is also a newly recorded song included.
