Mary Gatchell is an amazing performer, powerful pianist, and sensual singer. Her innovative compositions reveal a depth far more mature than her years. Her music is simply soulful. Mary's exciting new album, "Saturn Return" encompasses elements of classic pop and R&B fused with modern production sensibilities. It is a unique hybrid of contemporary genres while at the same time creating a sound completely fresh and new. The songs are both danceable and emotional, both visceral and cerebral.
"Saturn Return" is a departure from her traditional piano driven recordings and performances. Mary expands her sonic range by moving away from the acoustic piano on several songs and embracing other sounds. Mary plays mostly fender rhodes on this album and on songs like "Beautiful World" and "Saturn Return" utilizes more electronic and synth sounds.

With guidance from producer/drummer, Rodney Holmes, Mary's artistic evolution continues to grow, expand, and challenge the listener in "Saturn Return".
