Album Notes

Gathering Field combines lyricism and musicality to form a brand of passionate folk rock all their own.

"So Close to Home," the band's fourth release, is also their strongest.

It ranges from the searing rock groove of lead-off track "Look Inside," to the sweeping epics "Fifty Lifetimes" and "Who We Are," the stunning balladry of "Diadem" and the whispered intimacy of the closing cut, "Distant Thunder." Don't miss your chance to discover a world of fallen lovers still hungry for salvation, and lost drifters ever on the brink of discovering the beauty that is their birthright.
