1998

This CD includes 3 "killer" live cuts from a late 80s session at the Roxy Club in NW Washington. Danny and I hired a crew to do a 5-camera video shoot of the gig. After months of mixing we came up with an hour of great audio. I took the audio into the video studio and we edited a one-hour show. We abandoned the project when we encountered prohibitive license fees.

There are many other Danny Gatton gems on this collection, including the original version of "Pretty Blue" which was on the Electra demo. I think it's a much better version than the track recorded at Bearsville, which eventually was used on 88 Elmira Street.

Big Mo Records searched it's vaults and came up with these (10) previously unreleased gems from the legendary "Master of the Telecaster". (7) studio tracks and (3) scorching live takes of never before heard Gatton masterpieces.

Smart - Tasty - Wondrous guitar skills. Fan's of "The Humbler" won't be disapointed. Good representation of his array of licks with a live section included. Go for it!
