Dominic Gaudious returns with his long awaited fourth CD release "All Hopped Up"! Dynamic, intense and passionate are just some of the words used to describe the innovative work of instrumental guitarist and composer Dominic Gaudious. All songs feature Dominic on acoustic/electric guitars, guitar synth, keyboards, bass guitar, didgeridoo, drums and percussion progromming. "All Hopped Up" also includes special guest appearances by Mark Holland on Native American flute, Randy Graves on didgeridoo, and Brian Grover, the Kargyraa throat singer.
Working mainly with six and twelve-string acoustic guitars and incorporating exotic instruments such as the Australian digeridoo, Dominic Gaudious creates a uniquely intricate playing style which blends the sounds of classical, jazz, new age, Flamenco, folk, rock and world beat.
Often compared to Michael Hedges, Pierre Bensusan, Adrian Legg, and Leo Kottke, Dominic's appealing sound has become widely sought after for festivals, benefits and college concerts. He has performed for the Race Unity Festival in Atlanta and for national and international organizations such as PETA, Greenpeace and Citizens for a Better Environment. Dominic has also performed at the 1996 Centennial Olympic Games, appeared with the well-respected jazz ensemble Acoustic Alchemy and world-renown guitarists such as Pierre Bensusan and Adrian Legg as well as the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra. He also performed for the G3 (Satriani, Vai, Petrucci) after-show party at Atlanta's Tabernacle and has shared the stage with Pat Benetar, Kip Winger and Robert Randolph.

I first saw Dominic at the O'Hare airport, Chicago. He was just playing there and it was amazing. I immediately bought his 3 CDs (all available by that moment) from the shop across. "All Hopped Up" follows the same path he declared in those first 3 disks. Thanks!

author: Glinda CWhile it was a pleasure to listen to as I worked, I was completely swept away when the headphones were slipped on. The blend of instruments, technical talent and musical genius are amazing. This is far and away one of the best albums in my collection. Even the coworkers have asked me to turn it up.

Stunning, Better than Ever
author: Carol NaylorDominic Gaudious does it again! Just when you think you've heard his best he pushes his talent to a new level. "All Hopped Up" is exquisite from beginning to end with some of the most creative and impressive guitar work I've had the pleasure to listen to. "The Sheik of El Paso" is a stunning piece with incredible rhythms and energy. "It'll Be Okay" is by far the most beautiful ballad Dominic has recorded and it grabs your heart from the first notes. I feel very lucky to have had the fortune to listen to a true guitar genius. It will be fun to sit back and watch the rest of the country discover him.
Amazing !
author: Laura T Lynch of Kweevak.comDominic Gaudious is a multi-instrumentalist who has mastered electric, acoustic, six and twelve string guitars. In addition, he plays bass, drums, guitar synch and is handy at percussion programming too. This talented composer draws from a variety of influences including classical, jazz, new age, Flamenco, folk, rock and world. As you can imagine this ten track instrumental CD is diverse. Dominic is a passionate precise player. Gaudious' compositions are vibrant and innovative. Each song is a rich tapestry of sights, sounds, styles and complex chord sequences. The CD opens with 'If You Knew Me' a dramatic piece with intricate guitar work accented by a native flute and a didjeridoo. It is a magical composition that blends old and new traditions in a dynamic arrangement. 'Looking Back' is rich in its reflective serious tone and beautiful instrumentation. The closing track, 'Never Ending Battle', is an epic with its masterful guitar work, solemn subtle beat and punctuated by a Kargyraa throat singer. All Hopped Up is a sensational CD from start to finish and Dominic Gaudious is amazing!
