Gavin Maxfield is an exceptionally talented artist, with an incredibly melodic voice. Although he has the ability to sing in practically any genre, he prefers to stick with his first love, heartfelt ballads - and his debut single for Venus Music & Records Ltd the haunting "I laugh at myself now..." is an excellent example of both his favoured style and his vocal ability.
Gavin has got a natural talent for singing. He was born in Sheffield and has performed in numerous venues. He has been singing for a long time but has recently pursued it seriously. He has been preparing for his major album. "I laugh at myself now..." is a showpiece for the good things to come. It is not long when he will be known as one of the major stars in the UK. The song is very romantic and appeals to lovers in all of us who have had some bad experience. The song will make you think. The lyrics are excellent "why do the mountains stand so still? when my world has fallen away" gives you something to think about. The melody is soothing. The single contains one superb instrumental version that is suitable for play at most occasions.
The producer is Roddy Matthhews who is a well known musician. He wrote the music for several TV series and has been involved with some of the major hits of George Michael.
