Album Notes

Release Di Truth… VOLUME ONE is arguably Reggae’s best debut album from any artist of this Millennium thus far. Gavinchi Brown has managed to capture the soul of the music and made it relevant to this day and age.

The self-proclaimed “One Drop-Preneur” has not only managed to deliver top quality heart-felt soul stirring deliveries, flows and lyrics but he also managed to recruit the help of a slew of heavy-hitters on his debut disc. The supporting cast consists of giants such as Toots Hibbert, Musician/ Producer Extraordinaire Sly Dunbar (Sly & Robbie), Bone Thugs-N-Harmony’s Krayzie Bone, Luciano, Freddie McGregor, members of The Grace Thrillers, Roots Radics’ and guitar guru Dwight Pinkney, Steve Golding from Peter Tosh’s Word Sound and Power Band, Reggae Legends such as Augustus Pablo and Big Youth… and the list goes on and on.

This is an amazing and exceptional effort for a debut disc and Time (aka The Ultimate Critic) may very well list this album as a classic. It provides a wonderful listen from beginning to end; all the way through. It is, without the shadow of a doubt, an extremely solid project.
