notes
everything is a song! is a collection of 12 original children's tunes and is a Parent's Choice Award winner.
Child-tested and approved in Gayle's Music/Movement classes,
"everything is a song!" is a wonderful collection of snappy,
easy to remember tunes the whole family will be singing! With titles such as LEMONADE,POLAR BEAR and HELICOPTER these songs are about things kids love! Each song is easy to identify by the 12 picture cards on the cover and is represented by a featured instrument, creating a variety of sounds, musical moods and styles. "HAIRCUT" is a country song and features the pedal steel guitar. The "LADYBUG polka" comes complete with accordion and yodeling that will make everyone want to dance! Hear the clarinet become the fire engine's siren and the violin the kitty cat's meow. "let's make SOUP today" brings all the instruments together as each one becomes an ingredient added to the soup.
Gayle Schmitt has a BA in Early Childhood Education. She
combined her love of song writing and working with children and began her own Music/Movement program in San Francisco in the early '90s. Gayle has also performed at the Oregon Country fair, the SF bluegrass and Old Time Festival, the Randall Museum, Children's Fairyland and many book stores, libraries and schools,

Love this CD, fun songs!
author: SheriWe listened to this CD for years as my children grew up. They were thrilled to see it arrive for friends with toddlers, it brought up old memories and a discussion of their favorites!
