Not a bad song on this album!!!
author: Russell Rosen
This album generously contains 14 songs and there isn't a clunker in the bunch. Gaylynn wrote all the songs on the album. My favorites are Love of a Renegade, The Borderline and The Endless Fall. The playing behind her is exquisite but unfortunately the musicians aren't credited in the liner notes.

One of the best examples of real Country music that I’ve heard in many years.
author: Adam Treff, Oper. Mrg., Prog. Dir., KPAN Radio
"Anthology: Songs By A West Texas Songstress " is a one of the best examples of real Country music that I’ve heard in many years. It’s obvious that Gaylynn writes with experience. And she puts so much heart and soul into each one [song],...... The arrangements are basic and raw, but not overproduced like most of the stuff coming out of Nashville today, which is very refreshing. And the 14 tracks on "Anthology: Songs By A West Texas Songstress" cover many styles, so whether you’re a fan of Western Swing, traditional Country, or even bluesy ballads, I’m sure you’ll find at least one that will fit your playlist.
In this crowded world of “Pop-Country” clones, it’s nice to find a real gem like Gaylynn Robinson.
