Composer Sharon Farber and Singer/songwriter/manager/licenser Beth Wernick of Imaginary Friends Music Partners decided to create a contemporary version of a traditional Hanukkah song.
We chose Hanukkah, Oh Hanukkah! and asked the incredible singer, Jacob Mitchell, to do the vocals. Beth wrote the rap; Sharon created the track. The rest is Hanukkah history.
