Good-bye Blue Monday is Josh Cassidy, Joey Cassidy, Andy Jones and Ed Maldonado -- four guys who simply love to play music. Their blues/rock style has been influenced by many great artists, including Eric Clapton, The Dave Mathews Band, U2, and the Beatles. However, GBM has a sound all their own: a dynamic and unpredictable blend of electric guitars and gentle acoustics that continues to draw an enthusiastic response from a broad range of musical tastes. More importantly, the uplifting and encouraging message in their music has proven to be accepted by audiences of all ages and backgrounds.
The band has had the privilege of sharing their music in the public sector, performing at bookstores, malls, state fairs, community events, colleges, coffee houses, and in competitions, before crowds of every size, age, and demeanor. Time after time, performance after performance, these audiences have been captivated by GBM's energetic and entertaining style.
The members of Good-bye Blue Monday share a passion for music that is easily seen and heard. Their faith and beliefs are the guiding hand in all that they do. This is their 2nd CD and so far the most powerful.

Good bye Blue Monday is the real thing. This 2nd cd with all song's written by Josh Cassidy is not only a reflection of today's 20 somethings, but the world we live in today. With the band's extreme musical tightness, this cd deliver's some of the most uplifting music for those in search of a higher more loving power.
Every lyric/musical note that has been written by this young artist is full of the emotion's good or bad that not only he but the whole band has experienced at their young ages.
Their Blues Genre will captivate music lovers, non music lovers, Christian,Protestant, & young and old alike.
This IS a MUST have for anyone's diverse CD collection!!

Mature, Robust, Warm, Varied...Give Me some More!

An absolutely delightful project that gets one grooving. Lyrics are reflective and encouraging, and the rich blended tapestry of sounds, compliments what this band has to say. Their message and music just go together, like refried beans and flour tortillas. The sound of the album is consistently tight throughout; while the album also displays a nice range of topics and subtle differences in style. It’s an album that can be listened to from start to finish, over and over and over again. Glad I picked it up.
