Album Notes

Brian Foraker, Brian Foraker Studio, Nashville "A superbly crafted masterpiece of rock" Foraker has recorded such groups as Heart, Moby, Yes. Gary Katz, Producer, Steely Dan and other music legends “G- These guys simply made great music!” Heart of Rock Magazine, UK & Australia “The band's earthy style of rock fuses their 'classic rock flavor' with a hint of quirkiness and a twist of bubbly pop. Absolute perfection.” Sean McDowell, WDVE Radio G..the continuing adventures of the Granati brothers is fun and so impressive to listen to..and the musicianship is flawless, crisp and right there...the Granati Brothers are in fine form on this CD, real polished pros...” Rob Pratte, KDKA Radio. “A sound that has withstood the test of time. The Granatis are timeless!” Paul Steigerwald, Pittsburgh Broadcaster "This new CD is the ultimate testament to the prolific musicianship and recording artistry of the Granati Brothers. You're bound to be impressed" Scott Tady, Beaver County Times Newspaper "Soaring vocals, slick guitar work, songs with substance -- the Granati Brothers have returned with style and flair. The group's comeback CD is loaded with accessible songs... commercial radio should pay attention." Phil Tanna, ASJA, EFA Freelance Columinst “All the fashionable newcomers to the land of scream and shout should be forced fed this new release from the Granati Brothers. It's rock 'n music perr-fection.”

The name has changed and the music has just gotten better. G, formerly The Granati Brothers/G-Force have created magic with their new CD, G...the continuing adventures of the Granati brothers. They show a wide range of styles and
versatility rarely heard in these days of manufactured, by the numbers “hits.” The CD is written and produced by David, Hermie, and Joey Granati. Recorded at brother David's 48-track facility (Dave World Productions), over a 20-month period. The band decided to forgo cheap bells and whistles for memorable melodies and strong hooks that grab you and don't let go. Brian Foraker mastered the CD in his Nashville studio. Brian has recorded Heart, Moby, Yes and other artists. Fourteen original songs pace the CD along with Hermie's rendition of Lennon and McCartney's 'O Darlin.

David's stunning guitar textures are the connective tissue driven by the bruising drumbeat of Tony Bonomo and ignited by the multi-talented Joey Granati bringing voice, keyboards, bass, and classically beautiful melodies to the already muscular proceedings. Rick Granati is the energizer with his strong, steady percussions, while Hermie Granati supplies the soul and the power of an amazing voice and electrifying keyboard style. Guest appearances include an oboe soloist and string quartet from the world class Pittsburgh Symphony, featuring principal cellist Irv Kaufmann and principal violinist Louis Lev. These awe-inspiring players breathe life into Joey's string arrangements. Tracey Whorton's earthy abstract vibe completes the mix by way of her native and traditional percussion treatments.

Overall, this collection is like music you haven't heard in a long time. Still, G...the continuing adventures of the Granati brothers is like nothing you've heard before.

The Granati Brothers had two releases on A&M Records and opened 78 shows for Van Halen in the 80's. David and Joe, along with Gary Carolla and Sputzy Sparacino wrote Aaron Carter's hit song, "Tell Me How To Make You Smile" featured on Arron's debut album.

Peter Metts

Great mix of melody, rock and a hint of blues
Purchased after hearing We Were Alone but after listening to the entire CD, completely enjoyed the mix of melody, rock and a hint of blues throughout the rest of the tunes. The variety kept my ears interested in each song that followed until the end.

Dorian Scott

Killer recordings, what a treat!
It's no wonder members of the world famous Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra wanted to record with these artists. Not suprising either that they played dozens of shows with Van Halen. This CD is rich with contemporary stylings of seasoned rock n roll souls. 'G' is a must have in the collection.

I've only heard the songs on the page here which made me eager to order the album. The spiritual presence that inspired this album is inevitable in the lirics. I love it. Cann't wait to recieve it.

Unbelievable! Each song uniquely captures the emotion from a wide range of experiences in the journey of life itself. Serenity says it all. These guys are blessed with such talent.
