Gavin Castleton's DARK AGE is a great trip through an intelligent man's mind dealing with the emerging difficulties of modern life. American Bottleneck and Lemon are particularly good songs driven by the fuel of expanding the limitations that Hip-Hop has been dwelling in for far to long. This album is fabulous - the artist's energy and naked honesty radiates from every song. From the upbeat humor of "I'm not really a rapper..." and "Recuperation II" to the raw anger of "This is not", "90 East" and "The Great American Bottleneck," I enjoyed Gavin Castleton's true dedication to the art of music. The music itself keeps me turning my stereo louder and louder.
