notes
New release from Ivanhoe Road Music, Gayla Drake Paul has once again presented us with the gift of spectacular and innovative songwriting and performance, and has returned to her folk and world music roots. The symbiosis between guitar and vocal is as strong as ever. The songs are all original, including one collaborative piece written with composer Guy Wendler, "Don't Ask Me To Wait."
After an early listen, blues artist BeJae Fleming says: "This new CD of yours is as important and pleasing an album as I've ever heard. And just when I think you can't possibly get better, you do. This is a great record. I love it."

I know this Road - Now

The best Gayla yet!
author: KimberliThis CD was so easy to listen to, no low points and every song full of imagery and passion. I think my favorite thing about it was the way it was all so new (kept me leaning in for more) and yet felt familiar enough that it was like a much anticipated letter from a dear old friend. It's lyrically vivid and woven together like a shining musical web. Of all the music I have heard from Gayle Drake Paul, I KNOW THIS ROAD has to be my absolute favorite!
