Honest Passio, Virtuoso Guitar
author: Simon PC Frost
I love this disk.
In tracks such as 'Tell Her Tonight', we are given sound advice, taking us back to a place where we all have been at one time or another.
The prayer-like qualities portrayed in 'He Walks With Me' where a mystical lover, real or imaginary, is conjoured from a tune that almost forms a circle around the mind and heart.
'Dangerous Water' brings a little of Gayla Drake Paul's folk-rock persona forward, again taking us on a familiar path.
The dexterity, accuracy and spirit of the acoustic instrumental tracks is unparalelled.
The recording quality is excellent with clarity to a point where one can almost see Paul's fingers on the strings and feel the singer's breath.
Yes, this one gets all five stars.... and would receive more if they were available.
