GE5 is comprised of four seasoned Tacoma area musicians. They were brought together in the 90's to perform covers under the name "The Boinkers". After a number of years they decided to get together and record all of the songs they had composed and performed together. It would take too long to list all of their influences, but I think you will hear Beatles, Byrds, Rolling Stones, Gin Blossoms, The Knack, and others. We hope you enjoy the music and we hope to see you soon at one of our live shows.

This band rocks! And not only can they jam, they also have some serious pipes. This is especially evident in "I will always be with you", "Tell me", and "Fairy tales". The pop influence is unmistakable in the sound, but their music is all their own. From the classic title track, to the down-n-dirty, guitar-laden "Isn't it strange?", to the surf-rock "Down south", this cd will get you groovin'. "Superficial World" is a diverse collection of well-crafted songs that truly showcase the depth of this bands' abilities.
