Dr.Georgina Cannon is a Hypnosis and Past Life Regression Teacher and facilitor. She earned her doctorate as a Metaphysical Counsellor. Her thesis was on The Power of Three... how the use of mind, body and spirit can impact change and humanity. Her clinic - a warm and welcoming place to learn and grow - is open seven days a week, with four associate counsellors working with her handling all matters of the body mind or spirit. Weight loss and smoking cessation of course, but also Fears and Phobias, Emotional Traumas, Allergies, Self Esteem issues, Pain Management - both physical and emotional, Depression and all Stress related illnesses.
Her school - the largest freestanding school in Canada - teaches people from the medical, wellness and healthcare professions hypnosis and other related methodologies for healing. Coming from a corporate background - where she was CEO of a major communications company, Georgina has always been involved in the metaphysical and healing arts. from the first time i listened to this cd i have started on a path to successful weight loss increased relaxation in my life with less stress. the cd is motivating and relaxing. i would recommend weight loss with hypnosis and this cd as a daily tool.

Not a magic pill, but a good tool.

I would recommend this CD as a good tool to have for weight loss support. It will not magically produce instant results by just listening to it, but it will support you in doing the work and making the choices that you need to make to lose weight. It is about 20 minutes long, which I thought was pretty short for the price, but I don't regret buying it. Dr. Cannon begins by taking you through several relaxation steps. Her voice and accent are very pleasant, as is the music. When you are relaxed, she gives suggestions that are based on basic healthy notions that don't have to do with any particular diet. They are very generic in the best sense, such as drinking lots of water, eating healthy foods that are full of life, and feeling satisfied eating smaller portions. The only thing that is missing is specific mention of exercise. That's actually a pretty big "oops" to me, and is the reason for 4 stars instead of 5. She also has you visualize yourself as you would like to be. I listen to this CD as I go to sleep every night. I have noticed that I have been WANTING smaller portions, healthier foods, and more water. These are things that I have been working on for a long time, but I do feel that this CD is supporting me in that effort, so I think it's worth a try for anyone who is even slightly interested.
