Album Notes

This sophomore solo album is a great follow-up to Gene's "Harmonium" album. It show the breadth of his musical talents, which are striking. If you love great melodies, this CD is for you. If you love the harmonica, this CD is for you. IF you loved the music of the 40's and 50's, this CD is for you.
The orchestrations on this CD are once again top notch. Gene's mastery of the chromatic harmonica is unrivalled. This is NOT "blues harp" (diatonic harmonica). This is a four octave chromatic harmonica in the hands of a master. Nothing shrill or jarring here - only beautiful melodies, wonderfully played.
